What Does "COF Required" Mean?#

Schools marked COF Required ask international applicants to submit a Certification of Finances form. This form asks you to declare your funding source and may require bank statements.

Don't let this scare you. The form is just paperwork. If you can't pay anything, write $0 or "Not able to contribute." These schools still fully fund international students who need it.

Pro Tip

Certificate of Finances ≠ proving you can pay. It's required documentation for the visa process later.
